🏆 November 2026 – Judging of the 2nd BIG5 Tosai Grow-Out at the 3rd World Nishikigoi Convention (WNC) in Japan.

🏆 January 2027 – Judging of the 1st BIG5 Nisai Grow-Out at the All Japan Koi Show (AJKS).

And beyond that... we're already preparing for a new season, new opportunities, and new memories.

NISHIKIGOI ALLIANCE

1. Eligibility to Bid

* Only registered and verified users are allowed to participate in bidding.

* By placing a bid, you agree to comply with all auction rules and terms of use.

2. Bid Increments

* All bids must follow the minimum increment structure:

* ¥10,000 increments for bids up to ¥1,000,000

* ¥100,000 increments for bids between ¥1,000,000 and ¥10,000,000

* ¥1,000,000 increments for bids above ¥10,000,000

3. Bidding Amount (Jump Bids)

* The amount you submit will be placed as your bid, even if it exceeds the required minimum increment (i.e., jump bidding is allowed).

* Please verify your bid before confirming. All bids are final.

4. Time Extension Rule (Anti-Sniping)

* If a new bid is placed within the last 5 minutes of the auction, the end time will be extended by 5 minutes.

* This extension may occur multiple times until no new bids are placed in the final 5-minute window.

5. Winning Bid and Payment

* The highest valid bid at the time of auction close will be considered the winner.

* Failure to pay may result in cancellation, account suspension, or a permanent ban from future auctions.

6. No Bid Cancellations

* Bids cannot be cancelled under any circumstances once submitted.

* Please bid responsibly.

7. Bidder Responsibility

* Bidders are responsible for:

* Ensuring they have sufficient funds

* Understanding the item details, conditions, and auction terms before placing a bid

* No refunds or cancellations will be granted due to bidder oversight.

8. Tie Bids

* In the event of two or more identical highest bids, priority will be given to the earliest bid placed.

9. Auctioneer Rights

* We reserve the right to:

* Cancel, suspend, or restart any auction due to technical errors or suspicious activity

* Reject or remove bids that violate auction rules

* Take necessary actions to ensure fair participation

1. Payments

* Customers must complete payment within 15 days after the auction concludes.

* Dealers must complete payment within 30 days after the auction concludes.

* Late payments may result in order cancellation, forfeiture of winnings, or suspension of bidding privileges.

2. Koi Guarantees

* Gender is not Guaranteed. All koi are Female as of End of May (for Tosai Event only).

* Nishikigoi Alliance offers future-use credit guarantees for the following cases:

* Gender (Nisai Event) – Coverage applies if the koi is confirmed to be male upon harvest. In such case, the owner may choose either to receive a refund in the form of credit or to retain the purchased koi.

* Death – Covered if the koi dies while in care in Japan, until December 2026 or January 2027 for the koi that go to Final Round judging.

* Severe Deformation – Covered if it happens during the Azukari Period (until Judging Day).

* Significant Color Change – Covered for major color loss during the Azukari Period (until Judging Day).

Disclaimer:

* Final health inspections are conducted by the Dealers or Shippers responsible for the koi prior to dispatch. Our liability ends once the fish leaves the farm.

* We do not cover Death on Arrival (DOA).

* All claims will be reviewed and decided by our quality control team.

3. Shipping Deadline

* The Nisai Event Azukari program will conclude on December 31, except for koi that advance to the Final Round judging. Any request for extension thereafter must be arranged directly between the dealer and the breeder.

* All koi must be shipped no later than January 31, 2026, unless otherwise agreed (for Tosai Event only).

* Shipping arrangements must be made in advance with sufficient notice to avoid delays.

* Nishikigoi Alliance's reserves the right to charge holding or care fees for koi not shipped by the deadline.

4. Dealer Commission & Shipping Fees

* Dealers will charge a commission fee for each koi won by their registered customers.

* Dealers are also responsible for collecting shipping costs from their customers.

* Shipping costs will be charged upon shipment by the dealers and are determined based on destination, size, and number of koi.

* Dealers must coordinate payments and shipping arrangements on behalf of their customers, unless otherwise agreed with Nishikigoi Alliance.

5. Ownership & Risk Transfer

* Ownership of the koi transfers to the buyer only after full payment has been received.

* All risk (e.g., illness, injury) remains with Nishikigoi Alliance until the shipping deadline.

6. Health & Quarantine

* All koi are sold in healthy condition and have undergone standard quarantine procedures.

* Nishikigoi Alliance is not responsible for health issues arising after shipment or due to improper acclimation by the buyer.

7. Auction Integrity

* Bidders and dealers agree not to engage in bid manipulation, collusion, or any unfair bidding practices.

* Nishikigoi Alliance reserves the right to cancel any suspicious bids or accounts.

8. Changes & Amendments

* Nishikigoi Alliance reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

* Updated terms will be communicated via email or published on the official auction platform.
